1960 23′ Lyman Runabout FREE TO GOOD HOME

Owner purchased this boat from (only) its second owner near Lake Erie in July 2013 and brought it by flat bed truck to East Boothbay, Maine. 

In 2014, the boat was refurbished and repowered (Gray Marine engine replaced with a rebuilt 225 HP Chrysler Marine engine) by Mike Mayne of Edgecomb Boatworks. 

Since then, the boat has been professionally maintained and stored inside at Ocean Point Marina before being moved to Gamage Shipyard in South Bristol in 2018. 

Structurally the boat is in very good condition (hull painted in 2018; bottom painted in 2019), but ready for a complete refinish. 

Mechanically, as noted, the engine was replaced in 2014 and the boat has been used about 10 days each summer since that time. 

Among other work, the carburetor and water pump were replaced in 2019; the drive shaft, cutlass bearing, and prop were replaced in 2020. 

Cosmetically, the boat requires some brightwork. 

The boat is currently located in Belmont, Maine.

The boat comes with a Garmin chart plotter, VHF, bimini (2 years old), stern cover, a full mooring cover (see photo #1), bumpers, swim ladder, anchor, lines, cushions, and life preservers
